Childish Religion

Although science has disproved religious claims time after time again, the majority of people on this planet are to a greater or lesser extent religious. The most stubborn of religious people are the creationist ones, who believe that God created everything and is actively involved in everyday life (he watches you, answers prayers, judges you etc.). These people often shield themselves and their children from rational thought and are (willingly) ignorant from scientific facts.

French kiss

Wikipedia: "A French kiss is a kiss in which one participant's tongue touches the partner's lips or tongue and usually enters his or her mouth. In many parts of the world, this kind of kissing as a public display of affection is discouraged and may even be regarded as taboo. A French kiss is often used in cinema to indicate sexual desire between lovers."

Obviously, the French kiss is associated with love, but did you know what you are really doing when you'are wrestling each other's tongues?

A horrible death

Duty is heavy like a mountain, but death is as light as a feather. This is what the samurai code of honour says. Samurai were the medieval knights of Japan and served their masters with a passion. If a samurai failed at carrying out his duty, he would bring shame upon himself and his family. To save face, he was sometimes allowed to commit a gruesome form of ritual suicide (seppuku).

Prehistoric crocodile beats T-Rex

We probably all think the T-Rex was the most feared and powerful creature in the prehistoric era. However, according to Gregory M. Erickson of Florida State University, the Deinosuchus was more powerful than the T-Rex. This creature lived during the late Cretaceous and its name means “terrible crocodile”. Deinosuchus fossils have been found in ten U.S. states, including Texas, Montana, and many states along the East Coast. Some of them were also found in northern Mexico.
