Fighting 100 men in a row, the ultimate Mortal Kombat

Less than 20 people in history have ever completed the exhaustive, painful and incredibly challenging 100 men kumite. So what is the 100 men kumite? Well, it is a test in kyokushinkai karate, one of the toughest styles of karate. Kyokushinkai says hard fighting (in the ring! not smacking people senseless in the streets) is the only way to know how good you are. To test their fighters’ ability, kyokushinkai’s founder (Masutatsu Oyama) devised the ultimate challenge, the 100 men kumite. This means one person has to fight 100 men in a row in rounds lasting for 1.5 to 2 minutes.
The fighter has to win 50% of the fights and has to get up within 5 seconds if he is knocked down, all of this in one day! So if you ever think life has no more challenges in store for you, join your local kyokushinkai dojo and start practicing for the 100 men kumite.
